Senecio rowleyanus, native to Namibia, Africa, has pendent stems 3' or more with unusual round "leaves" giving the impression of a "string of pearls." The plant is a superb subject for a hanging basket. Protect from frost. Provide filtered light; hardy to 36F; trailing. Water thoroughly when soil is dry, less in winter. Produces little daisy like flower.

These are also very fragile; breakage occurs easily. Just replant if broken, it will eventually re-root.

Plants will and can get shifted during transit. Resulting in loss of soil. To avoid this please feel free to request your plants being shipped bare root. Some plants such as String of Pearls can but don’t hold together well in bare root form.

***This is a REPRESENTATION of the specie and the quality of plant you will receive. This doesn't include length of tendril.

****Although we ship only healthy, high quality plants, it is important to remember that they are not perfect (nor is any living thing). Minor leaf imperfections are normal; bruising can happen easily; leaves that have imperfections or are broken can be safely trimmed away with scissors. It is also normal for succulent to lose the bottom leaves when acclimating to their new environment.
